Google has made it so easy to include a map on your website. Once you include the map it has all the same great functionality you see on the Google maps site: zooming, dragging, different views.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Go to Google Maps.
2. Search for your address.
3. On the right hand side of the map, click Link to This Page.
4. Copy the embed in website link, and paste it in an email to your web designer.
Below is an example of the result - and a map to my office if you’d like to chat with me over coffee.

Now that’s a great way for people to find you Nicky!
Yeah, I love Google Maps. People often find it difficult to find our place in Forest Gardens, especially when some maps still don’t have it in there. So i would normally add a link to our location with Google Maps in my email to them.
By the way, did you know the States now have Traffic View as well? Where it’s implemented, you can see traffic incidents like accidents, construction and road closures. Cool huh! Not so much of an issue in Cairns. But can you imagine if you can see an accident on a freeway in Bris, you know you need to take another route to work. So much for that excuse for being late for work
