		<description>I totally agree with you on this Bee, I have seen so many companies around Cairns with word art logos, and poorly designed business cards, brochures or menus. Nothing screams amateur like a business card which isn't spaced correctly in the centre.

Most of these have been done by the owners of the business, who in an attempt to save money, or believe they have creative flair, have attempted their own work.

However I don't think that they are out looking to "brand" their business, I think they're just trying to save money on a graphic designer.

I guess it comes down to how serious you take your business. If you spend $1,000 on promoting your business through whatever form it is, why not spend another $1,000 to have a decent brand for your customer to come to.
