This is especially annoying when the quality of music is poor and their taste in music clashes badly with yours. I listen to music through my computer via headphones or speakers so when music plays over the top of my music it sounds like a murder of crows.

Music appeals to us on a personal level so that when we hear tones that we don't like it's like biting into a sour apple.
